BIO

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and certified Coach, I am interested in the mind-body connection and how it correlates to anxiety, stress, depression, and low self-esteem. I am also trained in teaching meditation, mindfulness, and yoga philosophy.

My work focuses on supporting clients through life’s challenges including anxiety, trauma, depression, career issues, relationships, life transitions, life-style issues, and overall wellness.

Before opening my private practice, I spent five years working in Bay Area schools as a therapist. I am featured in the documentary film Room to Breathe (www.roomtobreathefilm.com) in which mindfulness was brought into a classroom. I also worked at Haight Ashbury Psychological Services (www.hapsclinic.org) and Community Youth Center (https://www.cycsf.org).

I hold a BA from Boston University and an MA in Counseling Psychology from University of San Francisco, where I graduated with honors. I am member of CAMFT and SFCAMFT. As a former marketing and PR executive for over 15 years, I have an innate understanding of the challenges business people face.
